Student Basketball Utrecht (SBU) was founded in 1987 by basketball players from the Utrecht Student Basketball Federation (USBF) who wanted to participate in the competition of the Dutch Basketball Association (NBB). SBU is a basketball club for both women and men. Our six women's and six men's teams participate in the Dutch Basketball Association competition at different levels. The level varies from beginners to National 1st Division. Through selections, members end up in the team that suits them at the start of the season.

Within SBU, fun and performance are combined. We like to make time for drinks, parties, tournaments, camp, MIT and other fun activities, so there is also a lot of attention for fun and bonding, but the level of basketball does not suffer from this. There is a high degree of fanaticism and drive.

Product Range

We notice that members often look for a specialized store that can offer everything in the field of basketball and indoor sports. In our physical store and our webshop we offer everything when it comes to: Basketball shoes , Basketball Clothing and Basketball Accessories .

Our standard collection currently consists of a club uniform, crewneck (sweater), training long sleeves, shooting shirts and t-shirts in different colors on which clubs can choose multiple designs. Some clubs choose to keep the competition clothing or merchandise in-house. The items can be seen in the webshop, but can only be ordered from the club.

Delivery and conditions

Most team shop items are specially personalized, so delivery time may be longer than 1-5 days. The items chosen are always in consultation with the club.
