The history of Burned Sports:
Born out of love for basketball, Burned Sports started as a small shop in a small village by a young man with a big dream. After playing high school ball in the USA for the Zalma Bulldogs for a year, Floris de Jongh (17) was determined to bring the colorful American basketball sneakers and designer performance shoes to the Netherlands under the Burned Basketball company name. Top quality basketball shoes were nowhere to be found. Dutch basketball players quickly fell in love with the shoes and the business grew rapidly. It was only a matter of time before the Burned clothing brand was born and initiated the company's growth as a big name in the Dutch basketball scene.
Burned Basketball became Burned Sports
The bigger Burned Basketball became, the more customers walked into our stores looking for Volleyball, Handball and Korfball shoes. Apparently basketball players weren't the only ones who couldn't find good shoes for their beloved sport and so we felt responsible to help all indoor ballers. That is why Burned Sports was born and we have adapted and supplemented our collection with shoes and protection materials that are suitable for all indoor sports.
To complete the picture, you can now also go to Burned Sports for lifestyle products. Burned Sports originated from a passion for exclusive sneakers and performance shoes and that is why we try to distinguish ourselves by offering collections that you do not see everywhere. Burned Sports has since grown into a Performance and Lifestyle store where a young team of family and friends are ready for you every day.
So here to all indoor ballers & sneaker lovers: We got you!
